Education and positions held:

• Teaching assistant for mathematics at the University of Ljubljana (from 2003)
• PhD in Mathematics at the University of Warwick (June 2003), supervised by dr. Balázs Szendröi and professor Miles Reid. My examiners were Alessio Corti and Mark Gross.
• Awarded and accepted scholarship from the Mathematics Institute, University of Warwick. Also offered scholarship from Oxford University (professor Francis Kirwan) and Cambridge University (Trinity College for Part III).
• Graduated in theoretical mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, University of Ljubljana (1998) with a first class honours degree and a perfect score of 10 (supervised by professor Tomaž Košir)
• Obtained a high school teacher qualification (1999)
• Granted a position of young researcher at IMFM Institute by Slovenian Ministry of Science
