The ground state of our Universe is determined by the behaviour of the Higgs field that permeates space-time. According to the Standard Model of particle physics and experimental data, we appear to be living in a metastable state - a false vacuum. It can tunnel to the true ground state via quantum fluctuations, caused by the Higgs field, top quark and gauge boson perturbations. I will discuss how to calculate the probability for such process to occur in quantum field theory and present our update for the SM, where recently we resolved a part of the calculation.
