     Results of ATLAS collaboration

     Dr. Borut Kerševan, Oddelek za fiziko FMF Univerze v Ljubljani in Institut "Jožef Stefan" 

I will present an overview of the newest results of the international collaboration ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider LHC in the European Particle Physics Laboratory CERN in Geneva. The overview will cover precision measurements of the Standard Model Predictions, the measurement results of the newly discovered Higgs boson and latest results in the searches for New Physics beyond the Standard Model. I will also emphasize the challenges in data processing and analysis that the scientists in the ATLAS collaboration are facing in their research.
