Tilen Marc: From oriented matroids to partial cubes

Povzetek. We will give an introduction to oriented matroids. We will see how every oriented matroid defines a so called tope graph and is characterized by it. Tope graphs give a insight into oriented matroids, but also help to understand certain graphs. We will sketch how they can be used to characterize so called mirror graphs.
