Post-doctoral position (2yrs) at INAF-OAS (deadline Jan 8th) - Dwarf galaxies and stellar populations
Dear colleagues,
I would like to draw your attention to a new Postdoctoral position available at INAF-OAS Bologna for 2 years (with deadline for application on January 8th, 2024) with the title
“Studies of the evolution of dwarf galaxies and of their stellar populations”.

The selected candidate will work on the analysis and interpretation of optical and near-infrared high-resolution imaging data for a sample of local dwarf galaxies with signatures of recent merger events. Particular focus will be given to the study of the dwarfs’ stellar populations and star formation histories. Part of the research activity will be devoted to preparatory studies for the future exploitation of MORFEO+MICADO@ELT in the context of resolved stellar populations.
The nominal start of the position is on April 1th, 2024, but the exact date is flexible.
