Obvestilo študentom astronomije

Vpis na doktorski študij na Univerzi v Trstu (tudi za fiziko/astrofiziko) je možen do 6. junija. Povezave do informacij o prijavi in postopku izbora doktorskih študentov in študentk je v sporočilu.

The call for applications for admissions to the PhD programmes of the 41st cycle at the University of Trieste is out, and can be found at:

The deadline for application is June 6th @1pm CEST.

As for the PhD programme in Physics, 20 positions are available this year.

For 6 of these (5 funded by the University, 1 funded by the department, the successful candidate can choose any research subject within the themes of the PhD course (including Astrophysics).

Two positions are funded by INAF and will be carried out under the supervision of researchers working at INAF-OATs. The successful candidate will be able to choose freely among a number of projects available. One fellowship is funded by INAF-OATs (ERC synergy grant RECAP) and will focus on "Early chemical enrichment and the nature of first sources"

One fellowship is funded by INAF-OATs (QRUBICS project) and co-funded by the Department and will focus on "Bright, High-Redshift Quasars for Cosmology”
