Prof. Dr. Hilde Bosmans (KU Leuven, U Liege): Virtual imaging trials to optimize breast x-ray imaging

In this seminar, I will introduce the potential advantages of virtual imaging trials as opposed to strict clinical trials for breast x-ray imaging applications. Applications include tasks for which our classical approaches have no solution, like optimized clinical exposure settings, optimized viewing stations, image processing and digital breast tomosynthesis geometries.
