Povzetek/Abstract
A maniplex is an edge-coloured graph that generalises maps and abstract polytopes. Every abstract polytope uniquely defines a maniplex (its flag graph), which in turn, completely encodes its structure. Conversely, every maniplex uniquely defines a poset which is often, but not always, an abstract polytope. In this talk we explore the relation between these two closely connected classes of objects and discuss the related notions of politopality, faithfulness and thinness.
