I. Limončenko, Stanley-Reisner rings and toric topology

This is a mini-course aimed at introducing foundations of combinatorial commutative algebra from the viewpoint of toric topology. In this mini-course we are going to discuss basic algebraic properties of Stanley-Reisner rings and their Koszul homology in relation with combinatorics of simplicial complexes and topology of polyhedral products.
