NNLO QCD corrections to non-leptonic charmless B decays

Non-leptonic charmless B decays offer a rich and interesting phenomenology due to their large number of final states and observables. Hence, despite the fact that they are theoretically not as clean as rare or radiative B decays, there is certainly need for precision both on the theoretical and experimental side.

After an introduction to the theoretical framework (effective weak Hamiltonian, QCD factorization) and the motivation to go to NNLO, I will present the technical details of the two-loop calculation. I will then present the results of the phenomenological analysis of tree-dominated B -> pi pi, pi rho, and rho rho decays.
