Seminar za diskretno matematiko
Torek, 4. 6. 2013 od 10h do 12h, Plemljev seminar, Jadranska 19
Povzetek:
Recently a group of scientists lead by Roman Jerala designed a stable polypeptide
TET12 that self-assembles in the shape of tetrahedron. The purpose of this seminar
is to look at possible mathematical models that would help explain this remarkable
construction and could be used as a basis for a selection tool in designing stable
self-assembling polypeptides of a prescribed polyhedral shape.
Some computer experiments will be presented.
