Leah Wrenn Berman: Geometric constructions for symmetric geometric configurations

Povzetek. A geometric k-configuration is a collection of points and straight lines, typically in the Euclidean plane, so that each point lies on k lines and each line passes through k points. A number of geometric constructions are known to produce k-configurations with high degrees of geometric symmetry. This talk will discuss some of these construction techniques and then pose a number of open questions related to the classes of configurations that result. Many pretty pictures will be provided.
