Bartosz Greń: On algebraic tangles and their classification

A 2-tangle is a proper embedding of two arcs (and any number of circles) in a 3-ball, in such a way, that arcs' endpoints lie on the boundary of the ball. I will introduce you to the concept of tangles, their isotopy and classification.
