The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Ljubljana (hereinafter the FMF UL) respects your privacy and so will protect your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; GDPR), the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 163/22; ZVOP-2) and the University of Ljubljana's bylaws.

3. Personal data processor
For the purposes of operating its website, FMF UL collaborates with one personal data processor, with whom it has defined and agreed on mutual relations and obligations, including those related to personal data protection, in a written contract.
The contracting processor of the personal data collected while using the website and for the purposes of sending the e‑newsletter is SEDEM ČEZ DEVET d.o.o., Vrtača 3, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.
4. Purposes and legal basis of processing personal data
In accordance with Article 6(1a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), FMF UL processes the following personal data on the basis of the individual's consent, which he gives when visiting the website and entering his e-mail address:
- In order to improve the quality of our products and services and for statistical purposes, in connection with the e-mails we send you, we process data on the date of first subscription to the newsletter, e-mail address, news source to which you subscribed and when you subscribed.
5. Personal data storage period
An individual's personal data acquired based on their consent shall be processed and stored until the consent is revoked.
6. Rights of the individual
Based on a consent given for the purposes listed above, you can exercise the following rights at any time:
- The right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data;
- The right to rectify or complete your personal data;
- The right to have your personal data erased;
- The right to restrict the processing of your personal data (in certain cases);
- The right to data portability – in the event of a contract or personal consent and when data processing is automated.
