Multiplicative Ideal Factorization Theory of Hereditary Noetherian Prime Rings

Daniel Vitas

Abstract: Hereditary Noetherian prime (HNP) rings are a noncommutative generalization of Dedekind domains. In this talk, we will present a one-sided multiplicative ideal theory for HNP rings: To a one-sided ideal we assign a divisor, i.e., an integer combination of simple modules, and describe how multiplication of ideals affects the corresponding divisor.

The talk will be live and streamed.
