The use of vector algebra as well as differential and integral calculus for solving advanced problems from Physics 1 and Physics 2. The emphasis is on mastering the advanced methods and physical interpretations of solutions.
Plotting graphs, discussion of limiting cases and setting the differential equations for typical problems that appear in Physics 1 and Physics 2.

To develop student’s skills for describing physical problem with mathematical language. To learn advanced methods of solving problems and to interpret the solutions with the objective to upgrade understanding of concepts in Physics 1&2. To make simple assessments of anticipated solutions and to learn methods for simplifying problems.
Knowledge and understanding: Understanding of mathematical concepts for solving problems in physics; mastering and upgrading advanced concepts in Physics 1&2.
Application: The use of different mathematical tools, methods of assessment, and simplification of otherwise complex physical problems from the topics covered by Physics 1&2.
Reflection: The ability to critically address and analyse particular practical problems.
Transferable skills: The ability to efficiently use Slovenian as well as foreign literature or Internet to solve particular problems in Physics 1&2. The capabilities to present and discuss solutions.
