Competences:
experimental skills,
the use of electronic test instruments,
properties and testing of basic electronic circuits.
Knowledge and understanding
Familiarity with properties of basic electronic instruments (oscilloscope, function generator, probe, power supply...) including their operation. The understanding of the use of electronic instruments and procedures for the observation of signals. The operation of basic electronic circuits.
Application
The knowledge gained allows a practical understanding of operation for electronic circuits, the measurement of electrical signals and the use of instruments for measurement in physics including the analysis of electrical signals.
Reflection
Practical electronics based on examples in the laboratory, practical use of electronic instruments needed by those who will deal with measurements.
Transferable skills
The familiarity with techniques for observation of electrical signals is of use to everybody working in practical physics, where results rely on measurement skills.
Laboratory experiments, consultations.
Oral examination on experiments
Practical demonstration of the use of electronic instruments.
