Enrolment into the Meteorology subprogram.

Prerequisits are: completed course »Introduction to physics of the atmosphere« which is part of the first cycle academic study program Physics or a similar course.

Practical training at institutions that work in the field of meteorology (e.g. Slovenian Environment Agency)

Objectives and competences

Practical experience of work in the field of meteorology.

Intended learning outcomes

Understanding the activities, organizational structure, organization of the work process and workplace dynamic at the host institution.

Learning and teaching methods

Practical training under the supervision of supervisor form the hosting institution.

Assessment

Student much submit a written report, describing his activities at the hosting institution. The report must be approved and signed by the supervisor form the hosting institution.
Based on the report, the student gets a "fulfilled" or "not fulfilled" mark.
