The Seminar for Geometric Topology had its first meeting in 1983 (and was initially called the 3- Manifolds seminar) under the leadership of Professor Dušan Repovš. It is a joint scientific research seminar of the Department of Mathematics and Topology and its Applications Group at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics in Ljubljana. At the seminar, research is reported by the doctoral students, members of the research group, research visitors and invited foreign researchers.
