Seminar for history of mathematical sciences

The Seminar for history of mathematical sciences was formed in the academic year 2009/10 by Dr. Tomaž Pisanski. The seminar is held in collaboration with the Society of mathematicians, physicists and astronomers of Slovenia. The first chair of seminar was Dr Marko Razpet,  he was followed by Dr Jurij Kovič. The current leaders are dr. Nada Razpet and dr. Marko Razpet. Due to Covid-19, the lectures are being held on Zoom. The topics covered in the seminar are selected from the history of foreign and domestic mathematics, physics and astronomy.  It is attended by secondary and university teachers, especially retired teachers, but also by students and others. On special occasions the seminarians also visit exhibitions related to these sciences.
