The Topology Seminar is a research seminar co-sponsored by the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics. It was established in 1972 by Jože Vrabec who led the seminar for the next thirty years. Presently the activities of the seminar are coordinated by Petar Pavešić. Remarkably, the meeting time of the seminar remained unchanged for the last 50 years: we convene every Monday (during the winter and summer term) from noon to 2pm. The Topology Seminar features a mixture of visiting and local speakers and covers topics from virtually all of topology and several related fields.
