We strongly advise all visiting students to attend an Erasmus Intensive Language Course (EILC) before the beginning of classes. Consultations, exams, and sometimes course materials in English are available for visiting exchange students.
Students can choose courses from related faculties of the University of Ljubljana but will need to communicate this with all coordinators. Take the distance between the faculties, timetables and the availability of the courses into consideration.
1st cycle (bachelor)
The default language of instruction is Slovenian, without exception!
2nd cycle (masters)
The default language of instruction is Slovenian. Some of the courses are taught in English, and some can be taught in English if everybody attending agrees.
3rd cycle (doctoral)
All PhD courses are typically taught in English. Only outstanding master's students can attend PhD courses.
