Nik Stopar: Octonionic projective plane and Uhlhorn's theorem

Abstract: In the talk we will recall how the octonionic projective plane is constructed and give an overview of some of its properties. Our main foucus will be on the othogonality relation for points and we will show how certain things work there. We will then discuss maps on the octonionic projective plane and present an extension of Uhlhorn's famous theorem on the classification of orthomaps.
