Egbert Rijke: What are schemes?

Abstract: What is a scheme in algebraic geometry? Is there anything interesting to say about schemes from a univalent point of view? In this seminar I will present the definition of schemes, and introduce related concepts and the relevant theorems, and I will lay out a plan towards their formalization.
