The Harrison project and quantum astronomy

The Harrison project will be introduced with a description of our activities in collaboration with Padova University. Our work package with the unusual name "quantum astronomy" has the goal to understand the benefits of very precise timing for astronomy and to demonstrate our ability to realize subnanosecond synchronization between two observatories.
