Nino Bašić: Coronoids and Perforated Patches

Povzetek. In this lecture we will consider a mathematical formalization of the theory of coronoid hydrocarbons that is solely based on incidences between hexagons of the infinite hexagonal grid in the plane. We will also present perforated patches which are a generalization of coronoids (in addition to hexagons, other polygons may also be used). In a similar way as coronoids may be considered as benzenoids with holes, perforated patches are patches with holes. We will prove some of their basic properties.
