Adria Airways is searching for motivated and ambitious students that are interested in working in the aviation industry. We are looking for Master's level students (preferably from the 2nd year) to work on a project in our Revenue Management department. Revenue Management optimizes the availability and pricing of each flight by taking seasonal, weekly, daily, and event-based purchasing patterns into account. This month (November), Adria will begin to migrate its existing revenue management system to a new system and will then be integrating it. For this project, each student would be paired with a full-time employee who will work in tandem and mentor that student. The student should identify optimization potential from a scientific point of view. The project will last approximately 6 months and students will be compensated for the hours that they work. Upon completion of the project and after successfully completing their studies, students may have the opportunity to join Adria Airways as a full-time permanent employee.

Some of the tasks that students will perform as a part of the revenue management team will be:

• performing daily management of flights through inventory control and analyze relevant aspects of booking data in order to maximize revenue,
• ensure that optimum settings for demand forecast, price elasticity and seasonality are set in the revenue optimization system,
  
• continually evaluate and develop revenue and pricing strategies and provide accurate reports to all levels of the business to support the decision-making process.
