Mykola Khrypchenko: An embedding theorem for restriction semigroups

Abstract: Two-sided restriction semigroups are a class of semigroups  which generalizes both inverse semigroups and monoids. After giving a brief introduction into restriction semigroups and congruences on them, we shall define the notion of a double partial action of a restriction semigroup and then use this concept to obtain a result analogous to O'Carroll's embedding theorem for inverse semigroups. This is a joint work in progress with Mikhailo Dokuchaev and Ganna Kudryavtseva.
