The Kagome Heisenberg antiferromagnet model is considered a prime candidate for exhibiting a quantum spin liquid ground state in two dimensions,. The model has found physical realization in the herbertsmithite compound. I briefly discuss our theoretical work using Contractor Renormalization. Within our accuracy, we confirm a spin liquid with no broken magnetic or translational symmetries. However, we discover the onset of p6 - two dimensional chirality symmetry breaking. This prediction is currently being tested by variational studies on large cylinders. Possible signatures of this effect may have been observed in the optical phonon spectrum probed by recent infrared measurements on herbertsmithites.
