Type of work: Hybrid (work from home & office presence required)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

• Designing, implementing, and deploying investment strategies and algorithms
• Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and market microstructure for patterns
• Creating tools to analyze data for patterns
• Contributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis, investing and trading
• Developing, and calibrating existing investment strategies

Key goals:

• Apply quantitative modeling techniques to understand market behavior and
• write complex and nimble code used to grow our business and increase the efficiency of the global financial markets.

Key activities:

• Design and implement investing and trading algorithms based on analysed data,
• Design and implement sophisticated models to analyze markets, price securities, manage risk, and identify investment opportunities.

Key internal customers:

• CEO, CFO, CRO executives
• Product and Engineering
• Head of Product

Requirements:

• Familiarity with machine learning and AI is a plus
• Experience with data analysis, market research and data modeling (a plus)
• Software development experience as demonstrated through course work, research projects, or open source activities, preferably in Python, R/Matlab or similar
• Very good written and oral communication skills in Slovenian and English.
