Exploring the Echoes of the First Stars – Postdoctoral Position

At the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) we are opening an advanced 5-year postdoctoral position in Galactic Archaeology within the ERC-funded project OUTLIERS. We are assembling a team dedicated to uncovering the elusive first stars, combining observational innovation with large-survey exploitation. If you have postdoctoral experience in stellar spectroscopy, large surveys, and a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and scientific dissemination, we would be delighted to hear from you here in the Canary Islands. We promise excellent science, outstanding skies, and only a statistically insignificant number of volcanic eruptions.
