Dear members of the Mathematical Conversations seminar,

as organizers we'd like to forward the following invitation, as it may be relevant to the audience of the seminar:

*I would very much appreciate if you could advertise the 13th Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) that will take place September 13-18, 2026, to students (from undergrads to PhD students) and postdocs, e.g., by forwarding the below message and / or displaying the attached poster in your department. The application deadline is Feb 11, 2026. See https://www.heidelberg-laureate-forum.org/ for details.

The HLF offers a rare opportunity for students, PhD candidates, and postdocs in computer science and mathematics to spend a week interacting with Abel Prize, Fields Medal, Turing Prize, ACM Prize in Computing, IMU Abacus Medal and Nevanlinna Prize laureates, as well as with other outstanding international early-career mathematicians and computer scientists from around the world, and a variety of distinguished guests. The program includes lectures, workshops, panel discussions, networking events, and more. All local expenses (hotel and meals) are covered and an option to apply for travel funding if needed exists.

We have received a lot of extremely positive feedback from past participants. The HLF provides a very inspiring atmosphere and an excellent networking opportunity. Personally, I am also particularly enjoying the diversity of the group of early-career participants in many different dimensions, including countries they are coming from. *
